Baraneskanda Katina Maha Poojaa 2013 in this Wassana Season

"Wassana" means the Rainy season ....Starting from October by end with December period is heavily raining season for Asian countries .

Load Buddha and his students had been doing his peaceful missionary India 2600 years back during the Wassana period...Then another religious master name called "Nigantanatha Putta" had blamed Buddhaha ...'See the Buddha and the Monks kill small creatures in soil by walking hear and their during this rainy season" .....

Based on this matter .Buddha advised all the Monks to stay temples in this 3 months and named this season as KTINA (W'ass 3 months).And let devotes to provide all the necessary requirements for monks and gained Kusala (Good returns )

Based on this Incident now every Buddhist temple organize this kind of event include Dharmadeashans, Pirith (Sutra Deashana )and Colorful parade with Katina Cheewaraya ...
